OUR HISTORY

The origins of Cases2Go can be traced to the establishment of Professional Packing and Crating (PPC) in 1982 by founder, David Root.  The focus of the business was to provide expert packing services to local industries within the Tampa Bay area.  Responding to requests by numerous national defense contractors, PPC expanded its capabilities by completing a series of specialized packaging courses administered by the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.  As a result, PPC gained approval from the Defense Logistics Agency to commence MIL-SPEC packing operations and soon established itself as one of the largest and most respected packaging houses in Florida.  After almost two decades of packaging and design expertise, in response to industry developments, a new division was formed in 1999 focused entirely on the design and distribution of reusable containers: Cases2Go.

In 2009, to further enhance our capabilities and responsiveness, Cases2Go established a new twenty-two thousand square foot production facility.  Our customers seek case designs that are lightweight, durable and offer high performance under difficult conditions.  They have come to rely upon us not only for sensible and innovative options, but also for a focused response to their urgent and often changing needs.  Precision foam cushion fabrication equipment will allow us unprecedented response to customer needs.  Our sales specialists work in tandem with highly skilled packaging engineers and manufacturing professionals to ensure consistently high production quality, attractive pricing and responsive delivery times.  All of our products and services are backed by the Cases2Go name as well as the world class case manufacturer’s we partner with.  We understand that reliability, flexibility, and integrity matter most - especially to those who depend on us.

More recently, Cases2Go introduced Carbon Armor™ cases, a line of advanced carbon fiber containers manufactured by a joint venture of Cases2Go and their partner Dynamic Innovations. Carbon Armor™ cases' extreme light weight (1/2 that of aluminum) and high strength (2x the strength of steel and 6x the torsion, tensile and sheer strength of aluminum) deliver performance improvements and cost savings throughout multiple transportation and deployment cycles. At only 2mm thickness, their case walls are the thinnest in the composite case industry, resulting in a container as much as 50% lighter than competitive rackmount cases, yet markedly stronger and more resilient. Simply put, when it comes to shock, vibration and structural integrity, the Carbon Armor™ rackmount case will outperform any composite case on the market today.

After more than a quarter-century, Cases2Go has evolved from modest beginnings to become a thriving, full-spectrum, full-service reusable container company.  We now offer our customers a complete assortment of luggage, transit cases, stationary enclosures and rackmount solutions.  Change is driven by our customers, and Cases2Go is driven by the challenge of identifying and implementing solutions and as Cases2Go continues to grow, one constant will always remain: our commitment to enhanced service and quality products.  We are more than a company; we are people with imaginative vision and passion for our products, our industry and above all, our customers. Thank you for your contribution to our growth!
