Display features a fully functional 105-key Windows keyboard (including a dedicated numeric keypad), an integrated touch-pad pointing device, an active TFT LCD flat panel display protected by anti-glare tempered glass and auto-sensing power supply. Laptop-style tilting display requires little pull out to tilt open, and doesn't intrude into the aisle space in front of the rack.
Equipped with industrial-grade heavy-duty slide-out rails with depth-adjustable rear mounting support, the display can be mounted in any of our standard 19" server rack and rackmount cases.
Sylphit SKC models feature a bundled 16-port multi-platform Smart CAT5 KVM switch. The Smart CAT5 KVM switch gets rack-mounted behind the display, utilizing available depth-space in the rack without occupying any additional rack space. A specially designed groove in the Smart CAT5 switch's rack-mount brackets allow the provided single-sheath KVM cable to connect Sylphit to the switch, for a clean and flexible 1U rack-mount installation.
A powerful on-screen display (OSD) system provides the user with easy control and management, including server naming and selecting; optional password-protected access with three (3) access-levels for administrator, supervisor, and users; and auto-scan mode for automatic monitoring of attached servers.
The OSD allows assigning names to the attached servers, and selecting them by name. OSD also provides search-by-name capability. Alternatively, server selection can be achieved via "hot-keys" on Sylphit's keyboard.
