Dry contact cables are design to connect to a variety of systems and appliances, in order to report their on/off state. Such system may include water sensors, vibration sensors, motion sensors, glass break sensors, UPS and HVAC dry contact alert ports, security systems, etc.
Dry contact sensors detect and report on a predefined state change. The condition is either "off" (no electrical contact) or "on" (electrical contact).
