Enhanced Power Distribution Unit monitors drawn current
The Sentry Enhanced Power Distribution Unit (EPDU) is an enhanced zero U or rack-mount power strip, allowing network engineers to measure the current (in amps) that network devices are drawing on the power circuit.
A LED digital display indicator on the front panel utilizes the Input Current Monitor to precisely report the current drawn for on-site measurement.
To prevent an overload, administrator can configure the EPDU with a maximum input current rating. An audible alarm signals when the Input Current Threshold has been exceeded and continues to sound until the Input Current drops below the threshold value.
