Compact Rotomolded Rack Case for Shallow Equipment

The SKB 1SKB-R3S is designed for rack-mounted components that require three rack units but do not need the added depth and exterior size of a full-depth rack case. Its 3U configuration provides approximately 5.25 inches of usable vertical mounting space for compatible standard 19-inch equipment.

Front and rear rack rails allow compatible equipment to be mounted from either direction. Supplied rackmount clips and hardware support secure installation according to the equipment manufacturer’s mounting requirements.

Front and rear gasketed covers can be removed for equipment setup, operation, inspection, maintenance, and cable access. The gasketed closures help limit environmental exposure when both covers are correctly installed and secured.

The exterior incorporates recessed steel Mil-Spec black twist latches, heavy-duty flush-mounted handles, interlocking stacking ribs, and shock-absorbing rubber feet. These features help keep the case compact, manageable, and compatible with supported SKB stacking configurations.
