Wheeled Long-Form Case for Equipment Transport

The SKB 1SKB-H5020W is designed for equipment that needs more internal length and width than a conventional utility case. Its 49.75-inch interior length and 20-inch width support compatible stands, support hardware, tripods, tools, sporting equipment, and other long components that fit within the complete 49.75 × 20 × 13.375-inch usable space.

The clamshell design provides approximately 7.25 inches of depth in the base and 6.125 inches in the lid. Equipment must be positioned so that handles, knobs, clamps, feet, joints, and other projections do not interfere with closure or place unintended pressure on the contents.

Built-in wheels reduce the need to carry the case across long distances. Rubber over-molded handles provide cushioned gripping surfaces for lifting, carrying, and loading. Buyers should calculate the total packed weight and establish an appropriate handling plan before placing heavy equipment inside the case.

The vacuum-formed polyethylene exterior combines a durable shell with a relatively low empty weight. Oversized protective bumpers help guard exposed exterior areas, and field-replaceable latches, handles, and wheels allow serviceable hardware to be replaced when required.

Travel Sentry® Approved locking latches are intended to support authorized inspection and relocking by TSA personnel. ATA Specification 300, Category 1 certification addresses repeated common-carrier transport, but it does not guarantee acceptance by a specific airline or carrier. This case is supplied with an empty interior. Loose equipment should not be assumed to be adequately protected without appropriate restraint, separation, or cushioning.
