  • 3RS Series models feature a static shock rack when maximum shock isolation is needed but a sliding frame is not required.
  • All models shown above have a 20" rack depth and 2" front and rear lid depths.

SKB Shock Rack Cases for 19" Rackmount Equipment

SKB 3RR Series removable rack cases and 3RS Series static shock rack transport cases are available in multiple rack heights, including 3U, 4U, 5U, 6U, 7U, 9U, 11U, and 14U configurations. These rackmount cases are designed to accommodate standard 19" equipment racks in compliance with ANSI/EIA-310 standards.

Each case features a 20" rail-to-rail depth and square-hole rack rails that support both #10-32 U.S. standard and 6mm international cage nuts, which are included. This ensures compatibility across a wide range of rack-mounted electronics and systems.

SKB rackmount cases are designed with eight elastomeric isolators that provide shock and vibration mitigation for sensitive equipment. These isolators are rated for payload ranges from 40 lbs. to 150 lbs., helping protect critical components during transport and handling.
